brain damage causing numbness and pain?
rich
so i have had problems with central nerve damage for 2 years
i have uncontrollable muscle movements (tremors) and numbness and burning stabing pain everywhere , especially
in my stomach and feet , I am on disability and cant take it
anymore and have been thinking stupid thoughts, I have had
many medications with no effect , i just started gaba pentin and still no relief, does anyone have the same experience
and know of any good medications because my docters dont
know shit.
yes i have changed 13 different docters.

I think you need to change doctors. Unfortunately you have a lot of problems to sort out and you need the help of a doctor. We can’t really help you here on YA…sorry.
I have multiple lesions on my brain and a lesion near my spianl canal. I was diagnosed with MS and then Lupus. So, I am fairly aquainted with involuntary movements, numbness, neuropathic pain/burning,cold patches hyper-sensitive skin etc.
I tried gabapentin, but now take pregabalin which is a better version,(in my experience).I also take Citalopram which is a SSRI med and Nifedipine. To be honest dealing with the pain even gets the better of me. I am a trained and reg counsellor. I tend to use counselling techniques on myself to keep me ticking over. Chronic pain is never easy.
