Can MS ever be misdiagnosed as a mild stroke?
Last year I had what was thought a very mild stroke, Had the MRI of my head only, Results came back that there were signs that I had “stroke” damage before. The symptoms were minimal and lasted about 3 weeks slowly regaining almost full capacity. The neurologist wasn’t sure what was going wrong because the episode was over by the time I could get into see him.
Now I have developed a tremor in my left hand and a involuntary spasm in my right hand. I have a twitch in my right eye that seems constant and a constant buzzying in my ears. I am cold all the time and so very tired, but restful sleep escapes me. And the worse for me is a very poor memory. Then it all seems to get better for a while, then here we go again.
Does any of this sound like MS instead of Stroke to you?
Thanks for answering. I have never had any trouble with blood clots. Strokes do run in the family is why we sort of jumped on that, but now I wonder.

I have MS symptoms too, but have a diagnosis of Antiphospholipid syndrome. This autoimmune disease can cause the symptoms you describe. Some blood work will help determine this. I am including 2 links for you with information. Best wishes Feel free to mail me as I have more information about this disease.
