I take the Trazodone for sleep. Initially I started out with 25mg, and it knocked me out for the first 2-3 nights…then it stopped working, so I increased to 50. Still didn’t work, so doc told me to increase by 25mg every night until I do start sleeping, making sure I don’t feel drugged during the day. I ended up going up to 150mg, but then I felt like a zombie during the day, and the tremors started. But I can’t figure out if the tremors are from this or the Effexoe XR I’m also taking…I know it is a possible side effect of both, and I started increasing the Trazodone at the same time I was reaching my full dose of Effexor XR. I ended up decreasing my Trazodone back down to 100mg. Tremors are slight better, but my Effexor dose has been decreased as well.
