I’m 16 + i have since about mid-march been having really bad panick attacks. To where i think i’m going to die + tremors…etc. I also think i’m my heart is going to stop + freak out. The last attack was in the beginning of June…i called the ambulance b/c i was convinced my heart had stopped. They hooked me up to monitors + said that i was fine.
Since then…i’ve been having really bad random pains above my rib cage on the left side. I looked it up + it said that i could have PCS-Precordial Catch Syndrome. They listed things that i should look out for if its not that. I have almost all of the symptoms::
Chest pain that extends into the left side of the jaw or arm
a cough that produces phlegm
Extreme anxiety with the pain or a feeling of “impending doom”
Blueness or paleness of the lips or fingernails
An irregular, rapid, or pounding heart rate
Marked difficulty breathing or catching one’s breath
So, i really think that you could help.
Thanks.
I have had a very good experience with Lyrica, however finding an appropriate dose level is hard. Since I have Fibro and also some severe pain at points including the right hemisphere of my skull where a car side vision mirror hit me, I have found that only Codeine takes care of bad pain days for a right hemisphere attack, however Codeine is hard to justify here in the US, but it is over the counter in Australia. I have used ultram and aleve to bridge the pain management gaps. Any tips on how Lyrica has worked for you, and how you coped with other pain issues, specifically for me, it was after I was hit by a Car ( I was a pedestrian) in 1991. I don’t know if this whole issue is degenerative for me, but to stop some neurological based tremors, I also use Clonozapam. Any advice would be greatly appreciated
Thanks.
I have seen a Neuro( several) and a Rheumatoligist. I was given some blockers for the Head injury, but that stopped when they got annoyed when another treatment did not work. I think that the whole treatment is being affected by something underlying. Lyrica works, with ultram, aleve, and clonozapam at the moment, but my bad pain days are still bad, but mainly due to lyrica, I have had more good days than ever before.
I’m off for a Cortisone shot. My Lyrica Doseage is being up to 150 twice a day. Hopefully I can get into some more physical rehab, I am beginning to suspect I have Sciatica, but it could be more of the Fibro. Also, since I get fatigued easily, I will ask about CFS, but I am assuming I will get the run around. Ah well … any day above ground is a good day… will be better when my XBox 360 I won arrives
Having some leg tremors due to what I think may be reaction to a medication. Was wondering if I should use heat or cold to help it. Kept me awake for a bit last night. My one leg is sore from all the movement.
My sister’s temples are swelling and she says that she is having tremors. She will not sleep at night in fear of not waking up.
I have been taking neurontin for about two months. My doctors keeps increaseing my dosage. I am at 600 mg 4 times a day. I take it for essential tremors. I have noticed lack of orgasm and wondered if this is what is causing it.
I have started noticing a tremble in my left hand during parts of the day. I also have a numb felling in my pinky and ring finger on my left hand. My arm feels like it is asleep from the elbow down usually in the morning to mid afternoon, then comes back in the evening. Is this diet related, or could something be serious.

My husband has been seeing neurologists for these symptoms (with varying diagnosis) but has also had a history or arthritis for years now. For the most part, he has lived with the pain (mostly because he had gotten off Celebrex as it is an NSAID and too many side effects). Could it be possible that it has gotten bad enough to cause these problems too?
My Mom has be on massive doses of pain meds- for post op treatment from various surgeries for 25 or more years. Hip replacements, knee replacements shoulder replacements back surgery, gastrointestinal surgery. No vital organ surgery. And her most significant problem is mild diabetes. And of course tolerance to pain meds. And now she has developed a “tremor” (non-neuro) they are treating with valium along with the pain meds. Is there any “detox” options???
