Has anyone noticed tectonic creep along drainage lines, road-rail cutting, tunnels and hydropower structures?

Stress relief takes place along fractures, faults, joints and other primary or secondary surfaces in rocks. This destressing may not cause tremors to be felt by anyone located there. However, sensitive seismic instrumental network may record or fail to record them as micro-seism. However, by careful geological observations for micro-relief features along drainage lines, movements along s-surfaces in rocks one can at least know about presence of such activities in the area. I feel many of the slope failures in spite of remedial measures and landslides are caused by tectonic creep. Ignoring tectonic creep can have serious post construction failures along the layout of hydropower structures.
Dear friend, I have designed about ten types of instruments connected with earthquake and Tsunami. Can a small cut on the skin of the chest cause a heart attack?
No – neither can minor events on the very surface of the Earth.
Whilst land slips and the like will register on the seismometers their cause is down to weathering and erosion and nothing to do with tectonic plates whatsoever. If an atomic weapon does not set of a quake why expect minor slips to?
Tremors are caused deep in the crust and mantle.
Whilst well known faults can be monitored for slip and distortion the vast majority of faults are not known and even if they were would be too numerous to monitor properly.
When it comes to hydro power structures the whole area is subject to seismic survey and geological surveys to ensure that the area is stable in the same way as many other constructions such as nuclear plants are. The reasons for that are simple. The investment in building and maintaining these items is huge and the risk of structural failure would threaten lives. No company state or government is going to risk that.
