I have heard that zocor can cause tremors, but could it take 5 months befor it starts?

I think it could, as your body becomes more used to the presence of the drug in your body. Zocor is also associated with the weakoning and deterioration of muscles, so that may have been happening slowly and is now showing itself.

I would speak to a pharmacist first, as those consultations are of no cost. But if they have no helpful information, then contact your doctor asap.
