What is it?What causes it?Who is affected by it?and are there any alternative medical cures for it? And if so what exactly is the alternate.
Does anyone know of any effective treatment for benign essential tremor?

I have BET (benign essential tremor) which is nothing life threatening but just a high frequency tremor throughout my body. In my case it mainly affects my hands and is very noticeable to other people. I would like to know if anyone has had any success with accupuncture, hypnotherapy, etc… There are no prescription medications which I am permitted to take and would love to get rid of the shakes.

My son is 4 and has benign essential tremor. I have been told its very uncommon at such a young age. (he has had it since he was 2) It is only in his hands now but I think he is starting to get voice tremors when he is very nervous. I am afraid since it started so young that it will get worse at an early age. anyone else with a similar experience?
