Can Anyone Help With a Health Issue?

Simon

Hi

I have been experiencing problems over the past 6 weeks with dizziness, grogginess, sickness at night, night tremors and a feeling of being very unwell. I can still function properly and have not lost and power in my body.

I went to see a neurologist yesterday who performed a number of tests and made a note of my symptoms and came up with the conclusion that he does not see any serious problem however he has arranged for me to have an MRI and blood tests.

If these tests come back fine and these symptoms continue and get worse as they are, I would like to know what other general tests I could ask my GP to have. I am thinking it might not be a neurological problem and could be a serious problem coming from elsewhere in my body.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as this is ruining my life, work etc and cannot get on with things until my mind is at rest

Yours Hopefully

Anyone had to take Venlafaxin before?

tremor
lilu

It had been prescribed to me as a mood stabilizer. Is it worth the side effects? These include drowziness, dizziness, drymouth, upset stomach, weight loss, tremors, blurred vision. Of course everyone is different, but was just looking for some feedback. Thanks!

Is there anyone who can answer questions about MS?

tremor
star4me2see

I have had a few problems off and on for the last several years and sometimes the Dr.s seem more concerned then they should and I just started looking up a lot of the problems I have had over the last few years and they all seem to link back to MS. My grandfather had MS. I never thought a lot about it untill lately and I want to know if the symptoms can come and go. I am numb in a 4 inch diamiter in my back, and it has me a bit concerned. I have had headaches for years, stuttered for about 6 months out of the blue, had a bad case of vertigo, leg tremors, weak legs, walking problems, dizziness and now eye twitching. I’m sure there is some other explination, but I guess you never know.
Any answers would help.

My friend went into preterm labor yesterday evening and they gave her a shot of terbutaline. Today she is having a lot side effects like dizziness/lightheaded, shaking/tremors, restlessness.

She was wondering if anyone else had these side effects and how long they lasted. She says she doesn’t feel like they are going away but doesn’t want to call the dr if it’s normal.
