tremors went to both sides, body shaking,two kinds of tremors, resting, postural. I’ve been taking topamax for 5 weeks now, and what a difference! the tremors are hardly noticable, body doesn’t shake any more. why did it take 5 years dozens of drs. to get the right one, and the right medication?
I was wondering if anyone else has this disease, I just diagnosed with it. how do you handle it. do you worry about it. I’m in the early stages so the dr. says, but I’v been experiencing the symptems for the past 6 years and thought I was having a nervous breakdown. I saw several drs. and they dismissed me and prescribed anti-depressants for me, which didn’t help, I do get depressed and want to hurt myself sometimes. sometimes i feel like I can’t go on.. I have to force myself to get dressed just to go to the store, my tremors are better except when I’m stressed. I walk better too and move my arms better because of the meds. they put me on.. I tire out very easy but because I look healthy, family doesn’t understand why I have to rest every day.
Just curious on the issue…I have five children and I vaccinate all but one because of serious reactions she gets from them (high fevers, nystagmus, head tremor, ataxia, rash)…
What are your feelings? Do you vaccinate/will you vaccinate your children? Do you feel that people who choose not to are putting their children at risk? And finally, do you believe that there are cases where vaccines are the cause of illness (most drs will NOT admit to these…ive been there).

My son has had seizures his whole life. Noone has ever been able to tell us why. Sunday I was @ work and while standing my right leg started buckling and shaking, then it affected both legs and seemed to travel up until my whole body was involved. Most of the shaking was in my left side. I am 40 y.o. and never had this b4. ER doc couldn’t believe it was a seizure because I was conscious the whole time and remember everything. My son has had the same problem with drs. saying he was faking b/c he experienced it the same as me. I was skeptical as to whether or not they were right until I had this episode. Now I know how he feels! Anyone ever heard of this B4? What could it be if not seizures? Some other details: weakness, tremors. Pleeeze help.
