sound like medication/mental health related or not?

BY A THREAD

hello i have been taking these drugs: 60mg of Cymbalta once a day and Topamax 100mg once a day. i have clinical depression and anxiety disorder and been on cymbalta for almost 6 months and topamax about 3 or so weeks now. anyways, at night time for the past week while i am in a deep sleep i been waking up with involuntary tremors in my legs and arms my head will also turn slowly from side to side. my lips will blow very fast and i can’t stop them, it’s a pretty strange sight LOL. This all occurs for about 1-2 minutes and then stops, I’m aware it’s occurring but can’t stop it all until my body “releases” me from it. I am disoriented for a few minutes afterward but then fine. I start reading online about tardive dyskinesia — does any of these symptoms sound like that and can be related to these drugs or not? doctors found a small cyst on my brain unrelated to the mental illness could that be causing these strange symptoms? ty.

Which type of Multiple sclerosis do i have?

tremor
yeayea1427

Hi, I’m 21 year old female. Just got diagnosed with MS, but i’ve had the symptoms for about a year now, Weakness and tingling feeling in my legs and arms. The symptoms come and go, on and off. When i first got the symptoms I had tingling in my legs and back and then I had a tremor in my legs. That lasted for about 2months. Then my symptoms went away for like 3 months. Then they came back and I had the tingly feeling all down the right side of my body.that lasted for a couple weeks. then now the only symptom I have is a stiff leg. The worst it has ever been was like for a week when I was limping. I know there are several types of MS, my question is if anyone can tell me what type I have from my symptoms?
Thanks for you answers. I am seeing a neurologist in a small city who has not been much help. I am in the process of transferring to a neurologist at a big city research hospital.

The Hidden Secret

Our dog who may be pregnat is having tremors, what does this mean?

tremor
yancy1954

Our dog has had her “period” 3 times– everytime after she is done with her period, she has tremors, she shakes all over and her front legs draw up, during the day she has different severitys of the tremors. This is hard to watch– she is a 2 year old beagle– The other 2 times she was not pregnant and the tremors seemed to have gone away after a few days, but there’s a high likely hood she is pregnant this time, she got tied twice. Do you know what this is?

My mom has Orthostatic Tremor. Any non-drug things that can help?

tremor

My mom has a condition called orthostatic tremor. It just means that she can’t stand in one place for very long or she trembles and has to sit down. It’s different than what’s called “essential tremor“. She has NO problems walking, only when she stands in one spot.
She’s tried taking the standard drugs for this, but they are all basically sedatives that cause her to be drowsy and feel “drugged out”. Is there anything natural out there that might help?
Condition description:
Primary Orthostatic Tremor, also known as Orthostatic Tremor (OT), is a neurological movement disorder, characterized by high frequency tremors of the legs when in a standing position, and an immediate sense of instability.

Because of the speed of the contractions (13-18 Hz)* you may not recognize the problem as a tremor as compared to the more common essential tremor (4-7 Hz) or Parkinsons (3-6Hz) which produces a very visible movement.
