If this drug has so many side effect like Asthenia,sweating,nausea,decreased appetite,somnolence,dizziness,insomina,tremor,nervousness,ejaculatory disturbance,and other genital disorders why keep prescribing this medication to people if it is going to make you worse..
Question #1: has anyone been prescribe this medication in the past ?
Question #2: has anyone been feeling these side effects like I have ?
i think this medication should be taking off the market because since taking it i feel worse than before

Treating Anxiety

My mother-in-law has been in and out of the doctor’s office for the past several months trying to figure out what is causing her internal shaking and tremors. She feels like her entire body is quivering on the inside (cannot be seen on the outside). She has trouble doing everyday things like putting on make-up, cleaning the stove, etc. Her left arm also rises on it’s own up to her chest while she’s walking or standing. When she is around a lot of people, she gets really high anxiety.

The doctor’s thought that it might be Parkinson’s but said that it’s too early to tell. Then, scared her with the news that it might be brain tumors or cancer but have also ruled that out and have gone back to Parkinson’s. She’s not certain that’s what it is and would like help. She has an HMO and waits forever to get in to see the doctor’s and doesn’t get much help or a recommendation for medication to help the shaking that’s taking over her life.

Can anyone help or offer suggestions/reading?

Stop Sweating And Start Living

Having some leg tremors due to what I think may be reaction to a medication. Was wondering if I should use heat or cold to help it. Kept me awake for a bit last night. My one leg is sore from all the movement.

I am 16, this shouldn’t be happening.
I keep getting the feeling that a small Earthquake is happening, when I am sitting still of lying in bed. It happens a few times in a row then goes away for a few days to a week. it is my whole body that feels it I think – but mostly the lower part.

I have researched this and really it would seem like I have Parkinsons. I do have severe anxiety so perhaps it could be linked to this? I am not on any medication.

arghh… help me! I’m freaking a bit, it happened really badly today and now I feel sick/ nervous tension.
I cannot go to my docs, I see him wayy too much about all my generally trivial symptoms.

I have had blood tests for everything, they were all fine

The Hidden Secret

I have visited a psychiatrist twice now. I explain my problem with social anxiety but I could not bring myself to discuss my depression and daily suicidal thoughts. The first day the psychiatrist prescibed me Inderal. This medicine lowers the heart rate to help me stay calm when I need to for a few hours. My pulse was fast in his office with no one else. This medicine does not make me feel better but it helps me control my physical symptoms of tremors and shaking uncontrollably a little.

He also recommended Melatonin. This is an OTC sleep aid. The first night I was able to fall asleep in under 2 hours, this was an improvement for me and I was able to get 4 hours of sleep.
The second day the doctor gave me a prescription for SSRI prozac. My parents do not want to give me this medication because of side effects they have read. I am 18 but I have no job and cannot pay for this medicine. I don’t know what to do. I don’t think I can handle a job without this medicine. This scares me.

Angina Information

This weekend I have been to the ER two times, in 24hrs. I had 18 tubes of blood taken out, with neck xrays. All were negative. The last doctor who saw me mentioned Fibromyalgia. I had and still have tons of stess in my life, which may cause this. I had to quit my job, due to fatigue, tremors, and pain in my joints and muscles. What is the best thing to do for Fibromyalgia, diet, medications? What should I take for my hair loss? I just turned 31 the day he mentioned this to me. Im scared, please help

Help with Angina

I don’t use drugs and I am not on any medication so why would they cramp up like that at about the same time every day or two. That is too often for me and I don’t know what it could be. I am only 21 and unless I have nerve damage from a previous accident 3 years ago and only one hand was damaged and they both spasm like crazy to where I can’t drive, write, or pick upi anything because it hurts to try.
