Why do so many cheesy movies have sequels?

Movies like The Karate Kid and Tremors didn’t need to have sequels made……………..

I am sure that there are others.

Since the original made so much money, they knew they had a cash cow that HAD to be milked

They make sequels to make more money.

Cheesy movies tend to attract the lame brain.

the movies must have been popular or made a lot of money, so they made a sequel. And most people want to see the story continued. Take High School Musical for instance. It is so stupid and cheesey. But little kids love the singing and the actors and actresses such as Ashley Tisdale, Vanessa Hudgens, and Zac Efron. And I remember in Junior high how my friends loved it because they either thought Zac was hot, or Vanessa was hot.

    Karate kid didnt need sequels?

    are you nuts?

well except for part 4. That was only done because originaly part 3 was not supposed to be about Ralph machio but something went wrong with the new casting of a girl and so they went back to Ralph. When part 4 was brough up again they decided it was time to do the girl part.

guess you didnt see the end of the first one.

    Hi ‘Farmer Jed’,
i would like to concern my feelings about this answer you previously posted:

“YEs – skin color & general appearance says ALOT about a person……………”

    to this question:

I would just like to say that your answer is not a true statement.
Yes, racists still exist, as i see. Maybe, it would be the ‘smart’ thing to realize the inside person is not based on the outside color. What you wrote, is yes indeed racism. I do not know if you are old enough to realize inside values, but i advise to check yourself because if YOU don’t the SOMEONE will. I understand general appearance can lead you to judge someone but skin color draws the line. General Appearance is based on personality most of the time. Skin Color is based on genetics. Get it Right.

    Any Questions?
